At Hexabee Network, we view digital privacy not as an "option," but as a fundamental architectural component of our system. This policy transparently explains how our website operates, what data we do (and do not) collect, and how we interact with third-party services.

1. Core Philosophy: "Data Minimization by Design"

Our platform does not collect any personal data for user tracking, profiling, or behavioral analysis. Our infrastructure is built on a Flat-File architecture rather than SQL-based databases. Thanks to this design choice:

  • No personal data such as usernames, email addresses, IP logs, or passwords are stored on our servers.
  • No data is transferred to third-party ad networks or data brokers.

2. Cookies and Session Management

Our site uses only Essential Technical Cookies and Temporary Session Data to enhance user experience.

  • Hit Counter Logic: Game and content view counts are stored in JSON files to minimize server load. To prevent spam (inflation), we use temporary keys based on $_SESSION (Session) logic.
  • No Persistence: These session variables are deleted the moment you close your browser. We do not place any tracking or marketing cookies on your device. Therefore, a "Cookie Consent" banner is not required on our site.

3. Third-Party Services and Isolation

While we provide rich media content, these integrations are isolated at the code level to ensure they do not compromise user privacy:

  • Self-Hosted Resources: Fonts, icon packs, and style sheets used on our website are served entirely from our own server. Since we do not connect to Google Fonts or similar CDN services, your browser’s IP address is not leaked to external companies.
  • YouTube (Privacy-Enhanced Mode): Embedded videos are streamed via YouTube’s youtube-nocookie.com infrastructure. No data exchange occurs between your browser and YouTube until you actively start playing the video.

4. GDPR and Legal Compliance

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data protection laws:

  • Since our site does not process any personal data, we do not possess a data pool subject to requests for deletion, correction, or portability.
  • Our visitors can browse the site completely anonymously, without leaving a digital footprint.

5. Guestbook (An Opt-In Exception)

The one exception to our "no data collection by design" principle is the Guestbook feature, which relies entirely on voluntary participation. In this feature:

  • We only store the nickname and message you willingly submit; we do not store an email address or IP log.
  • Your entry is processed solely for the purpose of publishing it on the site, based on an explicit consent checkbox you must tick before submitting.
  • Abuse prevention uses a temporary session-based ($_SESSION) cooldown, not IP tracking, and is cleared when you close your browser.
  • Every submission is manually reviewed by our team before it becomes publicly visible; inappropriate content is not published.
  • You may request the deletion of your published entry at any time via the contact details below.
